About the site and the area
Anglesey offers many attractions, recreational, historic and the great attraction of its stunning coastline, a feature of outstanding natural beauty. Y Fronydd is a small quiet family run camping and caravanning park set in a rural area on a working farm keeping cattle and sheep, just 4 miles from the beach. The site is located on a central position on the island. An ideal location for those wanting a peaceful base to explore from.

Facilities on site

The park accommodates Caravans, Motorhomes and Tents on flat dry grass pitches. We have 20 seasonal pitches and 20 touring pitches. We have toilet and shower blocks including large family wet rooms. Drinking water and chemical disposal points. Kitchen area with fridge and freezer, also outdoor washing up facilities.

Local Attractions

Sandy Beach 4m, Local Supermarket 3m, Gas 3m, Bar/Pub 3m, Restaurant 3m, Takeaway Food 3m, Anglesey Circuit 4m, Menai Straits Rib Ride 8 Miles, Puffin Island Boat Trip 8 Miles, Anglesey Sea Zoo 10m. Good location for those liking cycling and walking and a quiet friendly retreat to explore the island from. The site is located on a main cycling route, so very convenient for campers wanting cycle from the site.

Directions to Site

From A55 take junction 6 signposted Rhostrehwfa A5 then at next roundabout take exit onto A5. Continue on A5 taking a left turn at the junction with the B4422. Continue to Capel Mawr, take the next right and you will see the sign. The campsite can be found on the right after approximately 500 yards.
